That country is rugged and steep. You will probably run into grizzly bears. Most of it is wilderness. I would recommend going outfitted for a better chance at filling a tag and use of horses to get around. -

Big Game and 140 E-tips in the 7mm-08
I use Big Game with 140gr nosler accubonds and e tips. .5 inches at 100 yards with both bullets. Shooting Weatherby Vangard. Just follow nosler load data, works well for me.- dht

Wyoming RIFLE bull dream!
I would research general areas. The points you have or will have, still puts you out of reach of most top limited quota areas. I think Randy stated there's around 124,000 non residents with elk points. -
