I ended up ordering a Ruger LC carbine in 10mm. My thought process was that it split the difference between 45acp for ammo availability and price, and the 460 for power. I liked the S&W and even considered another sub 2000 but ultimately the LC got the nod.
So I just won a $500 gift certificate to my local gun shop and I'm thinking of getting a pistol caliber carbine. I'd love to have a .45 acp for a little thump and the option to maybe upgrade to a .460 Rowland as well. I've been thinking of the Ruger LC carbine and the TNS aero survival...
Isn't there a thread where someone was looking for one?
Also, why in the hell did they ever quit making these? Nothing else compares to them in my opinion.
Tried to find but it was pulled down. It was not an actual post, but a post referencing ones that said NM and MT. So I guess I should've figured it out on my own.
I haven't looked in a few years and I was absolutely shocked helping a buddy of mine the other day. I've been doing other hunts but it won't be long. I agree, what the heck is the point bin waiting?
I've got one off of a mountain rifle but I doubt the barrel chanel is big enough. I think it was a bell and Carlson. It was from around 2010. If it would work, I'd make you a good price. It's never been used. Took it off immediately for a custom stock.
I've duplexed loads for our smokeless muzzleloaders. I absolutely love it. More reliable, more accurate, but a huge pain. I've heard the same things about some of the new powders like superformance and also the one about weatherby. The only guy I've ever heard talk about mixing had a chamber...
We've gotten into some accidentally. Lots of areas in the canals around Miami have em. Take the boat and do an Airbnb. Lots of em have security fence to protect your stuff. We were in key largo last summer and had the same concerns. Heck, you may find a house with canal access.
Full disclosure, my dogs were the ones on our neighbors causing trouble this fall. He was really pushed out of shape because he kept getting his target buck on camera at the same time three days in a row. Then enter my dogs. Got em chained up and eventually bought a gps collar and it works...
I never thought William would make it that far. He had so many mistakes with losing food. Then all or a sudden he hit his stride and finished like a champion. It was a fun season to watch for sure. The mental side is still the part you just can't prepare for.
