First time in WY-DIY
@npaden- actually that does make sense... or at least more sense that what I understood before. I appreciate you breaking that down for me. So pretty much to save my PP, i need to put in for an 'impossible' unit for my first choice, then a more realistic one for my 2nd. Thanks for yalls help... -

First time in WY-DIY
Hey guys, this will be my first time hunting antelope (pending draw)-DIY. I've hunted in central WY 5 years ago with great success, but it was guided. Nothing against guides, but my goals are to hunt DIY now. I've been sifting through info off the WY G&F site, other sites, Google earth, etc... -

Great!! Yeah I saw a map of the snowfall across the entire Western US for this year, compared to last year, pretty amazing how much less snowfall they got this year. Glad to hear things are mild-er. thanks for the info guys ! -

Topgun, thanks for your input! I recieve both Eastmans mags, and they are very very helpful! Yeah that's what I was hoping to hear. Does anyone know how the winter has been so far up there, and how hard its been on the deer, and antelope? -

i know this is an older thread, but I've been doing my own research on WY antelope, and yes the information is out there with a little leg work, studying some maps, and reading Eastmans MRS over and over again... I've come up with my short list of WY antelope units, but i have a question for... -

Which duck and goose call?
I agree! Go ahead and do it right the first time and get a Zink. They have single reeds, and double reeds. Since your kind of new to calling... get a double reed, they're easier to learn on and a little more forgiving. The Power Hen and Power Hen 2 cant be beat. Good luck!!- sschwartz
