    Deer slam I just finished the third leg of my deer slam this week! I took a 121 inch coues deer. It took me two years to get one. I am hunting Blacktail in Oregon this October and Sitka on Kodiak Island in 2014.

    GREAT PICTURE! I was just in southwest Texas on a coues deer hunt. I walked out of the best western the day before we left for camp and there was a 30 inch mule deer standing beside my truck. Camera was in the truck.

    Fill them with a 50/50 mixture of water and clear ammonia and let it stand for 24 hours. The smell is from bacteria, you have to kill it. Anything else will just mask the oder for a short time.

    Disappointed with Lathrop and Sons

    I purchased a pair of the Hanwags from them for a Mountain goat hunt. Had to send them back for some adjustments and had nothing but good, fast service. I bought the package, boots footbed, socks and boot dryers. They did hit me for $600.00.
