Living with the deer
These are deer that live near / around my neighborhood. It's pretty neat to see them mature and grow w/ any hunting pressure. These deer don't have any supplimental feeding, only whats on the ground and some occasional corn for a photo-op :)- ROW-BEAR

Velvet Elk, Sept 1-10
Just curious as to if anyone sees elk that are still in velvet those first 10 days of September? I've never hunted this early and wondering what the chances are... in New Mexico that is. Clint -
Labor Day elk anyone?
I drew a great NM archery elk tag that first season and can't wait! that first week can be a great time to find a vulnerable herd bull lookin for the ladies.
