Colorado Unit 61, 3rd Rifle season Deer Hunting partner wanted.
Hello, I finally drew a 2017 3rd season rifle deer tag for Colorado unit 61. I normally hunt with one or two other guys when hunting, but because of the preference point system I'm alone. Colorado Backdoor
F.Y.I. I checked the colorado "backdoor method" and found a non-res 591 code for deer, no elk code yet. They may not of processed elk or I didin't draw. I plan to hunt deer in Unit 61, third season. If anyone has any information that they could share it is appreciated. Thanks, Jay.- 1jaycoolman

Where would you hunt in Co. with 8 pref points?
Sure could use some advise. I have 8 preference points for elk in Colorado. I really would like to use them as I am getting older. I am interested in a DIY muzzle loader or 1st rifle hunt.
