    I have a studio where I restore painting, porcelain and gold leaf objects. Latest painting. 1882 French painting. It had chemical damage which removed paint down to the gesso coat. Work with thin glaze coats to bring back the hazel background. Then clear coat in a Archival varnish.

    Sure, I use a Daler- Roweny Inks , with small 000-#2 brushes , Inks are very thin , translucent-opaque. I work by layering tones , use translucent washes.     Is been a busy year. My son and his wife have a new little girl 8 weeks old. Moved into a new home in the Va. Countryside and I helped Jarrod build a loft for our breeding pair of birds at the shop. So the 1st 2 are at there new home and settled in. Soon to be let out to fly.

    Started out as kid with a friend hunting upland game. After the Army I chose to hunt alone. Occasionally I'd hunt with friends but primarily 99% I hunt alone.

    Hearing nothing all morning with my granddaughter and son with me. Trying to get her her 1st bird. Just wasn't happening. Then it happened so quick. I picked my gun up and Jon said he's going to shoot and it was over. Skylar had this look on her face of amazement. My 1st coyote.

    Birds shut down around 6:30 , I had 5 or 6 birds gobbling, they started about 5:30. I was looking forward to a morning of gobbling. At 6:50 4 hens came walking in with a nice mature Tom in tow. He took a dirt nap.

    My brother from another mother Phil and I doubled up this morning on a mature pair of brothers. I love turkey season. The old 1,2,3 layed them both out. 62 years hunting with Phil, my bird sported 4 beards.
