We heard similar stories when we were there, I talked to THE outfitter about helping me out, he was pretty arrogant. I stayed away from him. We were told by F&G that they took over 500 bulls in the general season in that area.

Actually paid $5.00 for the supertag, the elk tastes good but is a little tough, I was lucky on my strip hunt, I killed the first AM. but I had help.

Talked to one of the local guides there today, even the recent cold and snow hasn't brought the quality of the hunt up to last years standards, they had to work real hard to kill their bulls, had to go way high. hey Greenhorn, have you heard from your friends?
