Matthews Switchback XT?
I agree, bows are definately a personal preference. Problem is, there is NO good bow shop here in Las Vegas. There's a Bass Pro shops, but they are very limited in what bows, let alone what brands, they carry or can get for you. (If it's not in the catalog, you're S.O.L.) I have heard about...- Coues Sniper

Matthews Switchback XT?
Hey all, i was looking for a new bow, and had heard some good things about the Switchback XT but wanted to know if anyone here shoots one and had liked/disliked it and why. Well, i don't want to sart another photoshop argument, but check out this bull. Apparently killed in CO during archery season. Don't have a score or story as i pulled it from another site. But look at that mass, and that drop. Hell, look at the mass on the drop. Hope the guy doesn't mind...- Coues Sniper

Fires in my area!! Any advice?
I have hunted in 8 and 10 in AZ before when there were prescribed burns going on, and it didn't seem to affect the elk that much. The burn areas themselves were large, but the actual fires are usually small. Although the elk weren't standing right next to the fire, they stayed in the same...- Coues Sniper
