Hood Rat Deer
these guys think they own the place. there was a gang of about 5 kicking around today. they are starting fights and causing troble all over and they litter too. i think this might be the best place to live. merry christmas and a happy new year to all.- Flatlander

What type of mount?

favorite coyote hunting caliber and loads ?
remington LV SF in 223, is my favorite rifle. its light but not to light and it shoots good. i shot 2 coyotes with the 40gr noslers and they did ok but i might try some thing heavyer next year.- Flatlander

Some from today.

pet hunting setup
my favorite is a stainless 7mm that i put in a classic wood stock. it wears a 3-9 leupold and i think it might be the best set up for deer. probobly use it for bear this spring and maybe elk if i get drawn.- Flatlander

a days worth of hunting and nothing to show for it
went out for the morning made 3 stands and got 2 coyotes. my buddy shot the first one at about 200yrds with his 22-250 after it came all the way across a frozen slough. i shot mine as it hung up on a hill in a stubble field at some think like 375. i amed at his left ear and took out his front...- Flatlander
