I shot this groundhog with an 1 1/2" cut diameter broadhead as he passed through the yard and as you can see the broadhead did a little pass through of its' own.

Perhaps a better question would be, "How well can you shoot your bow after holding it for 60 seconds or longer?"
I've had to hold on at full draw for long periods of time (1 minute or longer), while waiting for a better shot angle and your muscles start to shake, quiver, tremble, etc...
Don't feel bad, my first wife didn't know how to use a diaphram either and that's how I found out about the insurance salesman.
I guess he had a good sales pitch for the "policy" he was selling.

Handgun hunting is a lot of fun and a viable option for you at this time. Obviously, you'd have to change your hunting tactics to closer ranges, but that's not all that difficult.

Unless a rifle is a light weight "carry" rifle such as a carbine, I will always have a Harris bi-pod on my rifles. They're very light, so you don't notice carrying them and it helps to make your shot much more solid.

Our early season opened today, but it has been raining hard all day, so I didn't get out. I was going to try some mourning doves, but not with the amount of rain that we received today.
The rest of the week is supposed to be in the mid 70s and sunny, so I'll be after 'em then. I wanna exercise...
My favorite shot was a .338 Win.Mag. w/ 180gr. Ballistic Tip traveling at 3550 f.p.s. as the coyote was walking directly away at 172 (laser rangefinder) yards.
At the impact area, there wasn't a single part of the coyote attached to another. Parts in all directions for 12 to 14 ft. from where...
