W@W, yes, because even if it is just for conversation purposes or as a party-starter, you have put it to some kind of use. Hey, Red Plate of Bull Chili: Is it okay to shoot a coyote-mix in the summer if it is obvious that its fur will never amount to anything?

Good thing your PM photo doesn't show much blood or huge-ass hole in the side of it. Wouldn't want anyone to draw the conclusion that you actually KILLED that thing, right? I think that thing is a weasel-coyote mix. Classic signs of it, I've seen it before. I bet a close-up of the teeth...

Do you need a dog on the stand?????

Hey, Bruce, don't you think the same thing kind of applies to hunting ANYthing with dogs? I can't imagine running down a deer with the help of dogs. Or a bear. I know, running dogs is very challenging hunting. And running animals down with hounds is different than enticing coyotes into range...

I suspect the REAL reason the dogs are there is for companionship. That and maybe protection. After seeing that comment about getting them in close enough to kill with a "sling and rounded rock," it makes more sense to me that at those distances, a 17 is a good way to put a coyote down.

Why would you think I don't like bold? Nah, it's just like when I see a post in ALL CAPITALS. WHEN I SEE A POST IN ALL CAPS OR IN BOLD, I TEND TO THINK THE POST MAY BE IMPORTANT OR SOMETHING. But like I said, no big deal. Just asking.
