    Help a confused rookie out...

Bruce: Nothing really. I don't think BlueChillyBalls needs any support from you. He BBQ's up a pretty healthy shat steak, let him eat most of it himself.

    Help a confused rookie out...

Oh, GEEZ, Bruce, you're not telling us what to do AGAIN, are you? With all due respect, respect should be earned, don't you think? Check out one of BalaPlata's recent posts and tell me if it is respectful: BalaPlata Member Member # 1591 posted 08-03-2003 16:05...

    Help a confused rookie out...

W@W, yes, because even if it is just for conversation purposes or as a party-starter, you have put it to some kind of use. Hey, Red Plate of Bull Chili: Is it okay to shoot a coyote-mix in the summer if it is obvious that its fur will never amount to anything?

    Help a confused rookie out...

Good thing your PM photo doesn't show much blood or huge-ass hole in the side of it. Wouldn't want anyone to draw the conclusion that you actually KILLED that thing, right? I think that thing is a weasel-coyote mix. Classic signs of it, I've seen it before. I bet a close-up of the teeth...

Do you need a dog on the stand?????

Hey, Bruce, don't you think the same thing kind of applies to hunting ANYthing with dogs? I can't imagine running down a deer with the help of dogs. Or a bear. I know, running dogs is very challenging hunting. And running animals down with hounds is different than enticing coyotes into range...

Do you need a dog on the stand?????

I suspect the REAL reason the dogs are there is for companionship. That and maybe protection. After seeing that comment about getting them in close enough to kill with a "sling and rounded rock," it makes more sense to me that at those distances, a 17 is a good way to put a coyote down.

    How far from the truck?

    Doesn't anyone camo-paint their truck?

    Most versatile sound?

I read somewhere on another board that FoxPro offers a great Red Chili Rectal Clench sound.

    Yo, Blubelli--

Does anyone remember a varmint forum-user named Blubelli? Haven't seen or heard from him (or her) in quite some time. Anyone out there got any info?

    Why the BOLD???

Nah, no Italics. No Greeks. No Germans. And no Frenchies!

    Hmmmmm

Oh, wow, nice to learn about such a well-respected guy who doesn't hang it all up in the summer and just gets after them whenever he gets a chance! Glad to see such an excellent hunter is not tendered by those anti-hunting sentimentalities.

    Give us a good tip.

Here's a good one: Leave your Cronk Calls at home.

    Give us a good tip.

If you're hand calling, take a good drink of water before you leave your truck.

    Hmmmmm

Bruce, do you think Eddie is better than callers like Rich Higgins or Jay Nistetter or Gerry Blair or Tal Lockwood, and if so, what is it that makes him better?

    Why the BOLD???

Hey, Bruce, that makes sense! Like I said, I was just wondering. I'll start to bold all my posts so you can be sure to read them.

    Why the BOLD???

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, DOUG!! I HAVE BEEN PAYING VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT BRUCE KENNEDY HAS TO SAY!!

    Hmmmmm

Bruce, that BBQ looks like fun!! Did you only do it the one year, 1998?

    Why the BOLD???

Why would you think I don't like bold? Nah, it's just like when I see a post in ALL CAPITALS. WHEN I SEE A POST IN ALL CAPS OR IN BOLD, I TEND TO THINK THE POST MAY BE IMPORTANT OR SOMETHING. But like I said, no big deal. Just asking.

    Why the BOLD???

Hey, Bruce Kennedy, I just have to ask. Why are your posts in bold?

    Beaver Pelts

"they are extremely plentiful and fairly easy to snatch" Wow, W@W, sounds like you have really good luck. I have indeed had Oriental beaver. Sprinkled with teriyaki sauce is an excellent way to eat it. Interestingly, I own a couple wall hangings from Tokyo that were woven with the hairs of...
