Who has killed what with a .243
Many deer in Texas die from a 243 so it must be ok for that HOWEVER it was designed as a varmint cartridge. My daughter and I have killed a number of whitetail deer on our ranch with hers. Yes, I aware elk have / or killed with it but then the Eskimos have killed P-bears with a 22 Hornet...no...- Harry

Dangerous Game Rifle ?
My two gun combo is a 338 Win Mag and a 416 Rem Mag. Hard to get me in a bind when I have either of these.- Harry
