    traditional vs. modern

I started out tradional with a long bow,now shoot a compound with sights and release.Have to say I am alot more confident with the compound.Thinking about trying a recurve.Bowhunters need to stick together back in the 80's I remember alot of clashes.

    Idaho Tradional Weapons Hunts

The Idaho Fish and Game unit is considering starting tradional weapons hunts longbow, recurve, and blackpowder hunts.I am overall mixed on this, if I could vote on it I would vote no.I think there is to many hunts as it is,why stress the animals anymore. What do you all think?

    onieda bows!!

I tried one out back in 1986,biggest problem I noticed was how loud it was.Back then a few club members owned them and seemed to like them.I settled on a different bow a High Country bow and still shoot it today.Anyway thats about all I can contribute to your question.

I currently use 2 blades, modoc 100 grain, and bear superrazorheads at 145 grain.Im interested in what everybody else is using. Here in Idaho we cant use mechanicals which seem to be the in thing these days. Are the mechanicals reliable?
