Explorer or F150 WY Red Desert
Considering taking the explorer as gets much better gas mileage then the F150. I prefer the truck for ease of use (tossing game in the back and room) but calculating the difference in cost it's actually fairly substantial. Nikon Prostaff on a 300 win mag question
Buddy of mine has a Nikon Prostaff mounted on a 300 win mag but not able to consistently sight it in. I am under the impression this is too much gun for that scope. Am I incorrect? I don't want to tell him to replace it without knowing I'm correct but don't have any experience with that... -
Recommendation on wild game processor in Southern WY
Any recommendations on wild game processor(s) for elk near Green River, Rock Springs or Rawlins - would consider Laramie or Cheyenne as well as have to drive through these towns to get home from the hunt. Appreciate any recommendations. -

I know, dangerous ammo question
Dangerous question because ammo is a personal choice and heavily dependent on what results each of us has seen on animals we've taken and how well we shoot. I certainly understand the "if you can shoot it well, that's your best choice" and agree to an extent. Not having much experience on elk... -
