Is the hunting pressure pretty high in the General W units in the Big Horns like unit 36 and 37? -

You are right about Any Elk in 39, 40 or 41. He's okay with an Antlerless Elk which is all her could get with 6 points in Limited Quota Areas like 39, 40 or 41. My uncle is kind of the same. He has 6 nonresident points and wants to apply for the fall. I don't know if he should go for General W and try in units 36 and 37 or go for limited quota draws in 39, 40 or 41. He would prefer to hunt the Bighorns.- 605

It will take a few years, but western South Dakota has decent public land opportunities. The antelope aren’t probably found in as great of numbers as the other western big game states, but it’s pretty good. -
