Budget trekking poles
I have a pair of LEKI carbon poles and they are going on year 15. I have gotten them stuck in rocks, slipped on them, packed out animals, backpacked, fished, pitched tarps with them, and so far, my favorite poles. Finding a big, stinky dead cow works too. I was antelope hunting on the opener last Saturday and spotted a bear chowing down on a dead cow, all while a dozen or so other Angus watched on from 10 yards away.
