I gotta hard time using anything that isn't suppressed anymore.
Every year I seem to get a few more barrels cut threaded.
I picked up a second suppressor last year because the wife was hogging the original one.
I’ve shot some pronghorn and whitetails with a few different flavors of 140 gr. bullets out of my 7mmRM around that 3200. Everything was very, very dead but I found the results out of cup and core bullets to be a little too dramatic for my liking at closer ranges.
I'm getting about 2725 out of 42gr of IMR 4064 with 140gr Sierras in an 18" 7mm-08. Just starting to get slightly flat primers, so I personally wont push too much further than that
I had my Rem 700 7mm-08 bedded, cut at 18”, and threaded for a suppressor. Shot it for the first time yesterday and got 2710fps as an average with 140gr Sierra Game Kings and a healthy amount of 4064.
I’ve come to expect very little out of my budget optics. I’d go with a Leupold VX Freedom or Vortex Diamondback figuring it’ll get broken eventually and at least the replacements will be free
As expected, nothing for me and the wife. Maybe next year!

Going off a quick glance at Gunbroker recently sold listings has 12ga & 20ga- $300-600 ea. / 16ga- $400-1000 / 28 & 410 - $1200-1800 ea.
Prices vary wildly on condition and age. No idea how'd they would do as a set but would certainly be neat to have them
