I have found embedding horizontal steel posts ie: weatherby magnum stock style 1/8" steel posts, deep in the carbon edge fill McMillian game scout stockprevents cracking. Then bed the front recoil lug area and rear trigger area of the stock. If you do not do this, the carbon edge fill stocks...- Nyseguy
