    What is everyone else loading in their .308win for hunting. Currently loading 165gr hornady interlocks (flat base, no boat tail) @ 2.750” oal 44.5 grains of varget Seeing about 2700 fps average at 0C (32f) Took a >350 lb black bear with this load, never recovered the bullet, pass through.

    I run the 165’s in .308, flat base. 2700 fps load, usually never recover a bullet. Just recovered my first interlock, 72% weight retention. They are incredibly tough for a cup in core (in my experience). A 139 will be Absaloutly ripping in a 7mag, they will work fine on deer. I would imagine...
