Let’s talk about firewood
Good thread! I’m jealous of some of your setups. I cut a nice load of lodgepole yesterday. Wood heat is our main source. I need a new stove, mine works but the door is very warped. No idea what brand it is. At least I have a nice trailer! 😂And I cooked up some mean steaks in the stove tonight.😋- Mule Kick

Rangefinders that don’t suck
I just bought a Leopold RX-5000. I had a vortex and had some of the same issues. It literally would stop working if it went under about 35 degrees. I sent it in once and they supposedly fixed it but it never made a difference! And it also sucked at picking up small objects on anything over 300... -

I’ve been loving this thread! So many of the pictures are familiar from the same trip I did in ‘24. We flew in for our actual hunt though! I can’t imagine hiking that many miles in that stuff..
