I guess your loyalty in the end meant nothing to Legacy Sports, but that’s how corporations work now a days. Sad, but hopefully a new rifle manufacturer will step forward and help you move your platform forward and to a newer and better level. Good luck with your hunting season this year.
To this day I am still angered by what happened that day. At work they told us what had happened, and the smoke from the towers, which was thick and so black could be seen from Belmar,NJ and probably further south than that. I had friends who were LEO or with an FD and traveled there to help...
I know of 3 individuals that have had hip replacement done within the last 3 years, 2 were older gentlemen,(in their 70's) and were according to them up and walking within hours after surgery. They both went to rehab and used a cane for a short period of time, likes 3-4 weeks, and were fine...
I really like the 175gr Barnes LRX, very accurate load for me. A friend gave me some Nosler 190gr ABLR to try. Very accurate in his 300WM, so I'll give them a go next range session.
My 2002 Ford Ranger XLT,4.0l, and 4wd. Got it in harvest gold, couldn't tell if it was dirty with the color. Sold it with 400K on it, the only problem I had with it was the transmission went on it once, and the 4wd module had to be replaced, otherwise a great truck. Have a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7l...
I have the Alps Hybrid-X pack since it came out and an older Traverse-X pack. The Hybrid carries much better. Compared to other brands, it is on the heavier side, but works well for my western hunts. I can definitely fit enough for a 3-4 day trip if needed.
Just get the X-bolt in either caliber, personally I'd choose the 270, but that's me. I've never owned a Tikka, so I can't say much, except people like them and I hear great things about them.
Any of the 3 are great choices and very capable. Personally I would get an X-bolt in .270 and get the model with the 7.5 twist rate, then you can confidently hand load 155-175 grain bullets and have lethal elk cartridge.
You're better off putting 235 away every month, and saving it, then to waste your money on them. There are a ridiculous amount of horror stories out there. It's a scam.
I have a few Leupold's, and no issues, I don't go out my way to abuse them either, but at some point they've all taken hits, same with the few Vortex scopes I own, they've been banged around as well. I don't get the hate some have for either. They're hunting scopes that get used and they work.
Yes I have, for many years, using either John Deere, Bobcat or Takeuchi tracked skid steers. They do the job, however like their wheeled cousin, the do slide on occasion depending on conditions. But because of their bigger footprint they are slightly faster at clean up, and because of the larger...
I use mine all the time. Can't miss it, it's the beat up looking, reliable one in the safe. It's accurate, not tough on the shoulder, and just puts game down. Some may put it down for lack of bullet choices, but honestly most find a load that just works well for them and go hunting. I refer to...
