Anyone hunt with Unguided Alaska/Arctic Air this year?
Terrain varies quite a bit from one drop to the next. Know of at least one group that had to cross 30” water every day. We packed along wiggys waders but didn’t need them where we were at. Lots of water but streams were small and we were got by with gators and good boots. Saw some fish but...- Pwr

From what I hear 2024 was a terrible year for flying weather. Out of the 6days we were in the field only 2-3 were clear enough to fly the area we were in. I would assume that on average weather years Arctic is not quite so backed up. Regardless who you go with don’t be surprised to be delayed...- Pwr

Joined just to reply to this discussion as I have been watching for reviews. I was in Kotz Aug 2024 with transporter - RAM Aviation. It was a great experience and going back in 2025. We did not have a lot of opportunities but went 4-4 on decent bulls. Bears were everywhere and stole any food...- Pwr
