Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

That's a good chart. We have so much data now....and noise. You're spot on with earnings outside of tech being necessary. Do you think we have better analytics now with respect to risks related to hidden debt and or leverage than we had in the past? Or with what happened to Situational...

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

I won't argue margin debt, leverage is a real risk just ask Leopold Aschenbrenner. But, for SBC this is accounted for in NON-GAAP v. GAAP accounting, and SBC increases cash flow for tax purposes. I always get a laugh when folk cry "these companies didn't pay any income taxes" when SBC is one...

Except two different tales of tech earnings. Cisco traded at 100x forward P/E, the NASDAQ 100 was ~60x. Megas and the 100 are in the 24-26x range currently.

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

The stock market right now is like making out on your girlfriend’s couch on a Friday night—the vibes are incredible, the line charts are going up. But you know that at any moment her Mom (Interest Rates/bonds) could come home early from a mahjong party with the girls or Dad (Inflation/gas...

Some trap clubs are free, or open to the public. Then there's a private one near me. $125k family membership, $350k Corporate Membership both with annual dues. Which one do you think has better connections to power brokers?

    9/11 Lest we forget

Todd Beamer and Mark Bingham who helped storm the cockpit of flight 93 and crash it in Pennsylvania were alumni of Los Gatos High where my son goes to school. Last night at the game to commemorate the anniversary they got an F-15 fly over.

What are you guys paying for gas?

Just passed this station, $.20 bump today, $7.99/8.09 cash/credit, I feel like I won something. Baited my father in law last night who love to talk about gas prices, garage size and car licensing fees. "So I needed diesel and Chevron, Rotten Robbie and the 76 in town were all over...

What are you guys paying for gas?

Bro, if I didn't post pictures in this thread, I wouldn't know what I paid for gas last week. 🤣 I'm pretty sure it was $2.50+/- in April of 2020. It was a magical time. I could make the same trip I'm going to this weekend in under 3 hours where it'll be close to 4 tomorrow.

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

Trying to compare lobbying efforts for incentives or policy frameworks and the decisions over the current administrations direct equity stakes in various companies is some impressive gymnastics. One is simply the game and how it's played, lobbying efforts have been used to shape policy...
