I would agree on the black gold pins. Going in tomorrow to get the hha nytrx it just seems to be like the best value out of them that is also still in stock! -

I really like the adjustable pins the boonie has, but the sight itself it super heavy. I really do not think you can go wrong no matter what sight you choose. -

good to know, I wasn't expecting anything giant. from what I can see from e-scouting it looks like there is a decent amount of stalkable terrain. I tried to call some people to get access to some landlocked public but they all seemed pretty strict about no hunters. -

the spot I wanted to try is about a mile and a half away from the fire I think that would be far enough. What caliber of deer should I be expecting? -

Just went and looked at the fires, I didn't realize they were already mostly contained. Dont want to interrupt the forum either but its my first year out west any advice would be appreciated. -
