    That is what I was saying when I said Republicans and Democrats/ voters of said parties. Republicans voted for it- but Democrats failed to produce a viable alternative, which did not happen overnight.

    I get what you’re saying. I’m pretty close to equally outraged over something “really fng corrupt” and something “really really fng corrupt” when it comes to our elected officials, however. At some point, sleaze is just sleaze- unit of measure stops mattering a whole lot.
