Thanks for taking the time to reply! Even though I have the means, This won’t be the trip I drop $10k for a guided bull hunt and it might not even be the state that I do as well. Thanks for replying… KY has a bigger herd than most people realize, in fact there are still people in KY that don’t know we even have them here… There are also viewing areas to see them here. I saw several big bulls on my KY hunt but they were either too far or cowed up… Thanks again- Kydeerslayer64

Stranger things have happened…I shot and missed my targeted 150+ deer in September and smoked him with my smoke pole in December…all you need is to be in the right place at the right time, plus a lot of luck and bam.It all can come together in seconds. My brother in law is my excuse to enter and I may hunt with or without him as he is more of he rather drop $10k get the Bull Elk and move on, but that’s not me at all. I realize that as the odds on landing a KY tag is about 40000 to 1. However having 2 preference points does give me about an 80% chance of drawing for a general license and that’s what I’m trying to figure out what I would do if I got drawn. Thanks so much for your reply as well!- Kydeerslayer64
