Water filtration?
I agree with previous comments about the steripen. It does take quite a while to sterilize large amounts of water and the batteries suffer regularly, especially with the cold mornings and evenings during the hunting season. I also use the katadyn filter and it is simple, fast and safe.- BootsontheGround18

Spotting scope tripod

Water Purification
I use the Katadyn filters attached to a hydrapak and then I squeeze the water into a 1.5L water bottle. It is a simple and quick solution. I have tried other systems such as grayl, uv pen, etc but so far I am most pleased with the simplicity and efficiency of the Katadyn system.- BootsontheGround18
