I don’t disagree with your thought process, I completely understand that logic. I never said everything is fake. Just 95% of everything. I don’t mean fake as in make believe, just not what it seems. Now pondering this I think I may be low on my number.- Stocker

I can’t disagree with this more. I can’t think of anytime I’d not rather live in than now. Sure, you could die of disease, or be killed by the elements. But now you can be turned into a commodity, make just enough money to buy a bunch of crap nobody needs, what money you don’t spend on mindless...- Stocker

I’ve been on this rant for a few years. I tell everyone that I think 95% is fake or a scam. From news to crap you buy. Everything is junk, if it isn’t junk then you are generally just buying a brand which is a scam. Everything is built to break so you throw it away or pay the company that...- Stocker

Turkeys
Out with the only hunting partner who’s either crazy or dumb enough to still go with me. ~8 miles yesterday in the pines looking for Miriam's. A few close calls. Bow hunting turkeys with no blind is definitely not for the weak, or smart people. 🤣- Stocker

Even if they do generate more taxes the government will just spend the new revenue faster than it comes in. We passed gambling a few years ago and that was gonna solve all of our tax burdens. Well, everything else is still taxed the same and now we have people losing what money they had saved...- Stocker

Non resident hunting advice
I know it’s been said a bunch, but the learning curve is steep. I’d been in elk country a fair amount as a younger kid with my uncles hunting elk and really relied on them. Once I got older and decided to go on my own I was very confident in my hunting abilities, the one thing I lacked solo was... -
Nebraska Fires
Yeah the short term grazing/fence situation is going to be a real nightmare. In the long term it’s probably beneficial. I think everyone kinda knew it was a matter of time before those cedar draws and canyons caught fire. It would have been nice if it was a controlled burn and not this though. -
