Went and looked through both yesterday. Yea Zeiss was a bit more bright. Decided to go with EL's because of a little better clarity. Plus maybe resale value may be a little better should the need arise. They had 15 percent off which helped make my decision. Price was 1699.00 plus tax. So...
Has anyone compared the optical quality between these two? I can get 10x42 EL or 10x50 SFL for the same price. I've read a lot of pro's and con's of each. I guess I'll let my eyes decide. Just wondering if anyone has looked through both?
So is the price of 2 grand for 10x42 EL's a good deal? At 60 yrs old , my eyes ain't what they used to be. I've got a new pair of 12x50 Razors but they seem to have a slight grayish tint when looking through. Didn't notice that at purchase time. Otherwise I like the ergonomics.
Yea it's getting fixed tomorrow. Gonna keep driving it locally for work, etc. Motor runs great, no oil use. Transmission shifts butter smooth. Only problem is the dam rust on the body. I want to buy a 2015 or newer for the aluminum body. Plus I don't really trust the old one for longer trips...
I own a 2013 F-150 Super cab 4x4. It's been a good truck, 5.0 liter, 6 speed auto, 256,000 miles. Last week it started making noise in the front end. Brought it in to the nearest Ford dealer. Pinion bearing in the front differential is shot. 2200.00 to fix. So I've been truck shopping ever...
Yea, this place has gotten pretty frickin disgusting. Years ago talking politics seemed to be frowned upon. Now it apparently is ok as long as it's bashing the right side of the aisle.
More than likely. Lot's of fawns out in taller grass fields and coyotes know it. The one I found was in a little tree island in the middle of a CRP field. I kill a pile of the buggers every year but more keep moving in.
Friend of mine drew a moose tag in WY unit 26. Is there decent bulls in there? If anyone has hunted moose in that area and wants to share info, I'm all ears. He's done a lot of research. I may go with him to help out. Pretty sure he had max points.
