7 PRC and Magnum Powder
Clean your barrel real good. And I’m guessing you are using 1st fired Horny brass? Load 3 to 5 rounds each with the bullets you have an see if any have potential. If not change powder, I recommend N- 560/565. For 7 prc. Hope this helps.- Darkside

What are you currently reloading?
300Wm. 175gr Berger, Fed-215 Peterson Long, N-165. This was my best of 3 series 5 inside of 21/4” 1 flier. Have 2 weeks before Br season starts. There is 2 shots where the tape measure shows 2 1/4”.- Darkside

Is it possible?
The 27-08 is a great cartridge, very efficient and works very well. I designed this around the 133 Apex Afterburner. 2.950 Max. And yes I downsized 7-08 Lapua. Rl-17 will get me over 3000fps and I am running them at 3000. 125 Cutting Edge Maximus 95 TTSX and 110 Accubond. Last year I did resize...- Darkside

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said. Once you get started and find it's limitation, I think you will be surprised. Start small and work your way to the Big Toys if you think you need too. I used them on and off for 30years, I would rather use the small ones any time.- Darkside
