Predator Hunting
Ideally i'd like to keep the skull and pelt if i could sew it, but i assume when people are saying it makes it a mess the last thing you want to do it try and skin it. Other options i have is a .22 and AR15 both w/ iron sights.... I've called in one coyote but he did come much closer than 200yrds.- climbin27

Morning thermals
I plan to come in from the bottom of this photo through the trees, before shooting light, to be on top or just below the ridge, hoping elk might be coming up from the aspens/meadow below. Red arrow is the typical travel of wind, my question is by doing this do i ruin being able to hunt the... -

Predator Hunting
I have a 6.5 creedmoor and want to use it for coyote hunting, any suggestions on bullets? I currently use 143g ELDX for deer and elk, would this obliterate a coyote?- climbin27

Morning thermals
I have a ridge that runs north to south and I think elk will be coming from the west over to the east side of the ridge. Coming through aspens and up a burn. My initial approach has aspens and clearing to get to the middle/top of the ridge before light. My pea brain understands thermals, but... -

Waiting for 2025 Colorado draw results
Confirmed cow tag, 2nd rifle w/ zero points... Got my first tag ever last year with 2 elk points and landed a 6 point bull on the second day of the season with a 6.5 Needmoor at 200 yrds.- climbin27
