Drew a NM Unit 49 Elk tag
3 years ago I got a fork in 49. The snow pack was crusty as heck. Only saw 2 bucks, 9 doe & one 4x4 elk. The recent fires should impact the area a lot. I've hunted this unit since 74. Very thick and difficult. If you have a group try driving to sitters.
