    Go in August. Typically beautiful weather, way less bugs, and the possibility of blueberries if it’s a good year for them. It’s when we try to plan our annual trip to Canada every year.

    I agree. I can do what’s needed to get my furs tanned and get them back to me in beautiful shape for displaying or sewing but, as a perfectionist, it kills me to see how nice some can put up fur. Someday I’ll have time to devote to it.

    I agree. I have a Tikka and love it. For the above reason, it won’t be a first gun for either of my kids. I’ve also had the safety bump get knocked off a few times while busting through brush. I never carry with one in the chamber unless I’m actively still-hunting, but it caught my attention.

    My wife’s 8 pound cat has the intent to harm me. I don’t kill it because, if it tries, I just have to push it off to the side with my boot and move on with my day. Killing it would cause a lot more headaches than it’s worth.

    I bought all my stuff before I got married. Now I just have to make it last!! I was VERY nervous to switch from Yamaha to the 150 4 Stroke Mercury with the Lund I have. It was damn near a deal breaker for me. To be honest, it’s been a better motor than the Yamaha was. I love it.
