    Went to swat training in Vegas for about 10 years in a row. Damn near starved to death using my per dieum shooting craps. Great training none the less. I was issued an MP-5 but nothing like going out and running a 50 cal. Have fun.

    I run a 338 Jarrett, just a little more case capacity. It's capable of 3k but shots better at2925 to 2950 with 250 gr Accubonds. I've killed at from bayonet distance to 501 yards, those bullets are flawless out of a fast 33. Worth a try.

    Try the Accubond, they are typically as accurate as Ballisctic tips, hold together through heavy bone. I’ve never messed with the 120 ballistic tips in my 7s.

    The last few years I’ve carried a 275 Rigby (7x57) loaded with 140 Accubonds for deer and elk in Montana. Most of my life I’ve used a 300 or 338 for elk but have found the 140 Ab will work. Might leave the 300 at home this spring and take the 140Accubonds to Africa.

    I’ve used the 140 for a number of years, accurate and easy to shoot. Effective on deer, coyotes and antelope, I’ve never tried it on anything larger. I use the 140 for practice, just banging steel kind of thing. I load close to the lands and find it doesn’t care too much which powder I use.
