Ever walk past an elk that was watching you?
Knowing how many animals I've stumbled into and spooked at close range because I wasn't paying attention, I'm sure it has happened to me. Elk may not tolerate it so much, but a blacktail for sure will stand and watch you walk by. QQ- QuazyQuinton

oregon 2025 tag success
We got the four archery elk tags we wanted so we can hunt together on the east side. Youngest got one of the best youth deer tags. Son-in-law drew a Willamette deer tag (and has a place to hunt it). We also got three different late season muzzleloader tags with concurrent dates, so we'll have to...- QuazyQuinton

Waiting for 2025 Colorado draw results
My son got a 3rd rifle buck and 3rd rifle cow in the unit where his cousin (my brother's family) lives. We'll look forward to that trip and hope to catch a buck traveling somewhere between the high country and the private in the lower country. QQ- QuazyQuinton

Given that I said above that I have a fondness for a cartridge developed in 1862, you can guess that I'm something of a mass and momentum guy. I've seen plenty of evidence that the 7mm-08 is adequate, but to have to cut that bullet in half...man, that makes me nervous. Shot placement is always...- QuazyQuinton
