Grizzly Bear Attack in Canada
I heard this the other day on the news ... grizzly attacks school children on a "field trip" and injures eleven. This is pretty much unheard of, most of the time it's one or maybe two people.
IMO ... it would have to be an ideal situation at 25 yards or less. As Elktrack stated ... "There’s a small opening that you have to hit just right to get in the good stuff".
Something to think about ... non-traditional platforms ... I told my wife that I sent information regarding the sale of public lands to my hunting buddies, and she got mad (with good reason) and asked why do you just sent this to guys? Good question. I then sent the same information to my...
I've harvested a number of elk with a 30-06 (cows and bulls). I prefer 180 grain bullets; brand doesn't really matter. Pick one grain and brand; just shoot them without thought to 130, 165, 180 grain or TSX, TTSX, LRX ... Don't over think it.

Bike helmets/Ski helmets. If you wiped out ... you picked yourself up ... repeat (made for a good scar and story to tell). We're raising a bunch of "wimps" :ROFLMAO:.

Now, after 33 years of marriage, when we arrive ... she jumps out, does her own thing ... and I back the...
This exact thing happened to me. I was loading up my truck to go hunting, dog (female) was out with me and making her rounds on my property, disappeared. Lady picked my dog up on at the corner of my property (one big city lot), called animal control, animal control picked my dog up at the...
HB 676 - Sponsored by House speaker Brandon Ler (R-Savage) will "facilitate the sale of isolated sections of State Trust land". Seems like the slippery slope of selling State Trust lands and this may lead to the selling of State Trust lands.
Billings Gazette Article 03/27/2025
Senator Daniel Emrich (R-Great Falls) has a bill pending (SB 381) in the State Senate that proposes to sell of 126,000 acres of State public lands for homesteading by people who have lived in Montana for 10 years. The Senate Committee on Natural Resources heard the Bill on Wednesday.
