    In the handgun world….I have found buying the higher end productions to be as equally good as a custom. Rifles probably see a lot of the same overlap there. For hunting anyways. Of course there is a difference if we are talking about specialized for competition.

    357 magnum revolver works just fine….I tend to use a 44 magnum the most tho.

    Way too hot in deer camp at 85+ degrees for me to feel comfortable getting a buck out. So I shifted to lope does. 309 jdj (somewhat similar to 308win), ssk frame and barrel, 1.5-5 leupold cds. 150 Cutting Edge Bullet 382 yards….bang flop.

    The better question is…. How much money would it cost to have your S&W 44 built into a custom to match the Spohr’s accuracy?

    You go on the spohrguns.com website and fill out the form. MMBI (importer) will collect payment and send your gun. Unlike Korth….spohr can’t keep up and they are sold before they even make it here. We get good size shipments into the USA every month.

    Korth and Spohr are in the same level of quality. Where Spohr beats them for me is the fact they take S&W optics bases. The rest is personal preference. I like the balance of the Spohr better.

    It’s one piece. It’s polished around that portion. On a double action revolver there is always some drag line from the cylinder stop. This prevents that.
