Domestic Livestock in the Bighorn National Forest

We’re seeing the same thing hunting up here in the Wyoming range this year. Grazed down more than normal. Don’t know if it’s because of little rain this summer or? There’s still pockets with lots of grass, but the easy to get to stuff is gone.

    Deer Hunting North West Wyoming

First off, if you’re a non resident you can’t get to very much high county unless you hire an outfitter. Most of the high country around Cody is wilderness and nonresidents can’t go in alone. Had a fire the other night.

Thanks again everyone. The investigator couldn’t pinpoint origin for sure, but has a strong thought on where it started. I can’t say yet, because he might have to come back out.

No we weren’t. Had a 18 V Milwaukee one on the charger in the shop, but fortunately it didn’t burn. Won’t be leaving them plugged in for extended periods of time anymore.

Had a fire the other night.

Fire and restoration company said they would take them to the taxidermist and they could remount them. I hope so. I lost 3 birds to the high heat in the living room.

Fire dept. thinks an electrical problem. Insurance company investigator is coming Sunday evening to try to pinpoint. State Farm has been fantastic so far.

Had a fire the other night.

We were on vacation to Northern California and got word our house caught on fire where we live near Cody WY. Pretty much going to be stripped down to the studs and rebuilt. Garage is a total loss. Mounts hides were ruined. Lot mounted pheasant, male sage hen and a pintail. Memories of each one...

    Cabin is toasty

I feel your pain. Ours burned down several years ago. It was just a small off the grid cabin, but boy we sure miss it. Sorry for your loss.
