    Hey Masmcclintock, I drew the ewe tag for unit 17-6 this year, so I can hunt the whole unit. I was wondering if you'd share how your hunt was last year? I'm from eastern South Dakota, and have never seen this area before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to give you my cell so we could have a brief discussion if that's possible.     Hey there,

    That was such a fun hunt. I am from Texas, and had never been there either. I ended up hunting just north of Sand Creek. If you look on ONx, there is a point called Sand Mine. I ending up getting one with a bow on the second day that I was there. I went up there at the end of August.

    Would you recommend that I bring either a side-by-side or 4-wheeler? Or is a pickup okay to get around? Did you see a lot of sheep?

    A SxS isnt necessary, but a nice thing to have if you can. We did see a lot of sheep! You will be in them pretty much all day everyday!
