My buddy had the 2nd season archery hunt. We went a few days early and ran into great bulls at water in the mornings. We hunted near Reserve. We also hunted by the airport. There were elk in Rancho Grande every night by the lakes. A lot of people were hunting water at night but we watched a ton of elk hitting the water in the morning
