Muzzle Brake: Eastern/ SE ID

first elk hunt
As a newer archery hunter myself, I did a lot of practice between 20-45 yards. Not just at those distances, but also in different stances, angles, and weather. Learning how to adjust for angle or other challenges will help you become better faster and more confident. Good luck! -

Best broadhead for elk?
Partially depends on where you’re hunting. Some states, like Idaho, don’t allow mechanical broad heads. Make sure you do the research first! -
Use Enough Gun
Brakes make for comfortable shooting, this make for confident shots. Obviously it’s all preference. Good luck! -

Conventional wisdom on elevation
Elk, like you and me, like what they like and don’t like change too often unless it’s forced. Dry farms can often produce some true monster bulls, even if the elevation is only 6000’ as mentioned earlier. Good luck! -
