I think this is right on the head, but first, I would rig a pressure gauge to it and try to pressure test it. If it holds pressure I would blow it out and use it.
I acquired a Davis tent in a similar fashion. I took it to Davis and they measured everything up and gave me a cut list along with all the small parts I needed to put it all together. Great guys.
If you bolt through I would add a cleat underneath the joint of your 2X’s. Cut a matching angle of 2x8 and then screw or nail that to the round post below.
Watch the leeward ridges where they’ve been blown clear. If the wind is howling they will be laid up just below the ridge getting some reprieve from the wind.
