Finished my encore.
If ported, it's amazing how tolerable the 45-70 is in a contender frame. The encore I have kicks quite a bit in 45-70. Slightly more than a 12 gauge slug IMO.- wvhunter304

Best whitetail state
I think tradition with Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Midwest is best for quality though. West Virginia has lots of opportunity in its northern half if you want a quantity experience on public land.- wvhunter304

Vintage Remington squirrel gun?
What would be a recommended vinatge remington 22? The nylon 66 has zero appeal to me so it needs to be something else. 541's are beyond the price I would like to pay. Looking at under $500 and able to mount a scope.- wvhunter304

New Muzzleloader
The Optima V2 is an amazing value and product. I was blown away by the accuracy and crispness of trigger. The muzzleloader made me a cva fan. Even bought a second of the exact same gun to use one for Colorado elk and one for muzzleloader season in my home state of WV. So the Accura should be...- wvhunter304
