    There’s several units worth more than a type 4 tag in 100 if you want to hunt cow or spike elk even. I can name several, all good hunts.

    That’s kind of what I was getting at, still no response from him. I’m still looking if anyone has any interest sharing for their price or getting in on a private land muley or antelope hunt in SD, hotel based, not a hard unit to draw either. I’ll put you up in the hotel as well, and guide you.

    You do realize there’s a giant lake in between Wheaton and SD correct? I’d say it’s an isolated area from SD.

    I have plenty of time, I’m 30. I’ve had 2 general tags in the last couple of years. Just addicted to going and I want to guarantee going back. I don’t have a ton of free spending money so giving someone $2500 is out of my range, not an insult if I can’t afford it. Just not that dire to be broke...

    I think you could ask your outfitter if they have clients waiting to draw that may want to bandwagon on your app and pay you back. Seems to be the theme with what these other guys are saying.

    $500 a point seems like a lot, people really willing to pay that much? I know some pretty well off older guys that wouldn’t even take that offer.

    Not worth that much to me, I’d consider $1000. If you find someone willing to pay $4k for 5 points you better take that offer.

    I’d say no because the hunt you could draw with 9.5 split isn’t worth 10k. If I could buy your points and have all 19 I bet someone would pay that much.

    It’s not my fault you waited too long to apply for a general tag. Like I said, make the offer if you want more, no one has yet. I can’t say no if you don’t offer it.

    Why an insult? If we split your ten points for a general tag that requires 5 and we both draw and you get the $262 back for the points you accumulated that I used it sounds like an even draw. If someone made me an offer to pay over that I’d consider it but no one has even mentioned it.
