Yep, thats what they want is for elk to be shot out. Then in 7-9 years when the population is in noticeable decline, they will blame it on the hunters and not the wolves, and reduce hunting opportunity. Variation in initial/max weights for reloading manuals
Yeah some brass is going to be thicker and have less case capacity vs thinner will have more, etc. Dont start at max. If you have a new rifle I'd start somewhere in the middle of the range, if you have an older rifle I'd start at the bottom of the range- Wind in His Hair
