Qual? Chukar?
quail chukar Not finding the chukars, but have found plenty of quail at cj strike, fort boise, and around swan falls just have not got into the chukar.- weimhunter

Chukar in SW Idaho
I am new to the area and was wondering if anyone could help me out on where to go for chukar and pheasants. I have been finding lots of quail but not much luck with the chukar. Any help would be appreciated- weimhunter

them are some great pics. can you run a coyote with just two dogs or can the coyote handle two. you say your dogs are stags is that a breed or are they crossed with something? could you use just straight greyhounds or whippets?- weimhunter

i own two boomer and abby they are both three years old. when they were younger i ran them in North Americian Versatile Hunting Dog Assoc or NAVDHA tests, abby had a perfect score and boomer was two points away from perfect. Road hunting
i am not a real fan but after a rainstorm you have better chance of finding birds on the road than actually hunting their is a lot of backroads where i live that i run by dogs on to keep them in shape and after a rainstorm you can really get into the birds.- weimhunter

'Swatting' at birds
i am not to big on ground sluicing them but with grouse it seems you can throw sticks all you want and they will wait to fly while you are looking for the next stick to throw so if they are sitting on a small enough branch i like to shoot the branch and then the bird in theory.- weimhunter
