I usually train in the "foothills" near Lone Mountain twice a week. This was my wife's idea. Ugh. Kasey's around 13 years old so I Ioad her in a front pack after about a mile and a half. I wish I had her life!- Wallydeuce

Non Political Broadhead Thread (With a Bonus Poll!)
I use them. Haven't killed an animal with them yet. Had opportunities but passed on the shots. They fly well. I'm using 100 grain. I noticed them helping a guy cut up his elk. It punched one hell of a hole through both sides.- Wallydeuce

A question for pilots?
Learn to fly! There isn't anything more fun to do with your clothes on. I earned my airman certificate at 51, IFR and glider ratings at 52 and flew regularly as PIC until about 4 years ago (age 70). Is an ATV worth it??
I left my Kawasaki Mule home last year instead of hauling it to Colorado. Huge mistake. It would have saved me 30 or more miles on my boots. I'll haul it this year if I draw.- Wallydeuce

2024 NV hunt proposed quota
See above. I've been applying in my 36 year home state of Nevada for 9 years. Drew an archery elk cow tag first year applying. Drew a bull tag in a primo unit with 4 points and another cow tag a year later. At 74, I may never draw another tag. That's the way the draw system works but with 5...- Wallydeuce
