Is the Labrador breed heading in the wrong direction?

Personally I prefer higher pitched calls, but for a deeper sounding call in that range, I'd concur about the Power Clucker (PC-1) from Zink, the Raptor from Field Proven and the Poly Super Mag from Tim Grounds. The last 2 are my favorites in the Poly realm- WalkingBird

Who uses bino lens covers inside their carrying case
I use the covers on my Vipers. I keep the flap closed while storing or walking in thick brush, but keep the flap open with the covers on for general walking around to keep the AZ dust of the glass, but less movement and noise if I need to shuck them in a hurry- WalkingBird

shortest shot on a big game animal?
~30' is about my shortest on a big game animal, a doe whitetail that walked up behind me. Closest on a buck would be about 45' on a 5pt buck. Both were while hunting from the ground. All i saw before the buck popped up was the tips of his tines coming over the knoll. Both were with a 7mm-08- WalkingBird

Pretty & Classy rifles. Lets see them!

All of this and then some. Whistle's can be more deadly than mallard hen calls since they're more universal and fewer folks use them overall. I’ve always got at least 2L in the pack when I leave camp/the truck. Most times it’s closer to 4L, 3L in the bladder and another liter in bottles for Mtn house and coffee- WalkingBird
