    I had to quarter my buck the other day after it was killed. Weather related obviously. Now that is quartered, should I still hang the parts or can they just sit on a table in the yard to start the aging process?

    Anyone know how much deer like yellow crab apples? Found some on a tree in a suburban parking lot. Filled up a whole garbage can full. Didn't really see where the deer were eating them. Maybe too bitter? IDK

    Yes it does, but I wonder if I coat it afterwards with a protectant if that will preserve it.

    The stains I have on the skull are from the dirt and mud from the ground. I've been scrubbing it with bleach and it still isn't getting rid of it. Thinking about painting it?? any thoughts on that?

    The stain is from the mud and dirt it was buried in. I tried scrubbing it with bleach, but it really isn't even putting a dent in it.

    Bury instead of bugs

    I've been burying them but the last two came out with really bad mud stains. I may have had them in the ground too long IDK.
